The Sun and Moon Align for Love

Today is a very special day astrologically speaking. I’m no aficionado, but I did a little research because ther seems to be a flurry or activity about today.

July 1st, 2011 shares a Solar Eclipse and a New Moon. That’s big doings from the celestial point of view. The New Moon is a time of new beginnings and a fabulous time to MANifest your desires. The Eclipse drives change and acceleration on your life’s path. Plus, that’s a powerful merging of feminine (moon) energy and masculine (sun) energy.

On top of that, there have been two other eclipses in the past 30 days – something that is rather unusual. These two eclipses have encouraged us to look for new opportunities and release your past.

How does all this impact your love life?

If you’ve been stuck in old habits and patterns – this month you may have started to see a shift. Perhaps you are considering new ways to meet men or have already risked trying a new avenue. You might be letting go of old beliefs that have been keeping you single. Or you might be opening your heart to new types of guys who would be better matches.

With the eclipse early this morning, you can hopefully accelerate these changes and get one last shot during this time to break free and take a big step forward.

Now, couple that with the New Moon which is today and focus on what you want to attract and create in your life.  Make a new list of your most important “must have”, qualities of the right man for you. You can even burn your list in a fire tonight, allowing the smoke to take your prayers to the high powers that be. Call in all your helpers first like angels, spirit guides, higher self, source, God etc.

This time isn’t only for attracting love, although the astrological sign Cancer is about family and home. You can also create healing, a new career, or whatever you want. Choose your focus and manifest to your heart’s content. Tonight’s the night when it’s all in the stars so go for it!

  1. I’m actually in the process of changing careers, or really revamping an old career. I abandoned my teaching career over 12 years ago, but after a layoff from my office job last February I’ve been trying to figure out what to do next. I decided to get my teaching certificate reissued, so I can substitute teach at the higher rate of pay, and go back to graduate school for an additional certification in library science. I don’t really want to be a classroom teacher (it’s a better job for extroverts than it is for an introvert like me), but I still want to work in education in some way. I think the library thing will work out for me. (Fingers crossed anyway!). Good to know the moon and sun are on my side this month. 🙂

  2. Wow – love to get your take on this astrological stuff, Ronnie. What if the horoscope says that this won’t be a good month for you for romance? Should you go out there and flirt and mingle, anyway? I’m guessing you’ll say yes!

    • I’m not a big astrology buff, particularly when its predictive about my personal life. Two astrologers told me I’d never marry but I proved them wrong. I do enjoy it as it pertains to the bigger picture and our lives in more general terms. So if it’s not a romance month – who cares – you are right. My advice is always to get out there, mingle, be friendly and flirt. You never know who you might meet – either a good prospect, some new friends, or the people who will eventually connect you with the right man for you. Any of it is possible when you are out there!
