This is the best Feng Shui story I’ve ever heard. My friend Krista, Feng Shui expert and energy healer told me about a client of hers who she gave this advise to and how well it worked.
Once upon a time, Krista’ had a client named Sherry. Sherry had already done a lot of Feng Shui work to her home with Krista to help her attract love. She had two night tables, one on either side of the bed with one drawer left empty for “him.” She had emptied a spot (just a few inches of pole space) in her closet for when her man shows up in her life.
Sherry had also created an altar in the love corner of her home with many symbols of love. All of these steps are traditional ways to attract a loving relationship with the use of this ancient Asian art.
But still, the right man had not appeared. Mind you, Sherry was also going out and meeting men, doing online dating and getting fixed up by friends and family. She was certainly active. But the right man hadn’t managed to find her yet.
She spoke to Feng Shui FairyGodmother Krista who recommended this cure which I have never heard of. Krista suggested that our story’s heroine buy a pair of man’s shoes and put them in her closet. That sounded really crazy to Sherry. On the other hand – what did she have to lose?
Sherry took a trip to TJMaxx and went to the men’s shoe department. There she looked at the rows of shoes, not sure what to get, or what size. She noticed that size 11 seemed to be the most popular size – there were more 11’s than any other size.
Sherry browsed at all the styles, varieties, and colors, and finally selected a pair of black Sketchers, size 11 and brought them home. Once home, she placed them in her closet with the intention that a wonderful man would soon come to fill those shoes.
A few weeks later, she met a great guy and really hit it off. But that had happened many times before which is why Sherry remained neutral and refrained from getting overly excited. Sherry knew the “we’ll see” attitude can help a single woman manage her enthusiasm to spare her heart and not get carried away.
On the second date they were taking a walk in her neighborhood and she decided spontaneously to ask Pete if he’d escort her to a dinner her friends were hosting that night at a restaurant in town. Pete, who lived out of town, said he’d love to, but didn’t have anything but flip flops with him.
Sherry smiled as this thought came into her mind – I have the perfect pair of shoes back at my place.
“What size shoe do you where?” asked Sherry. Shockingly, “Size 11,” replied Pete. They went back to her place, he put on the shoes which fit perfectly, and they went to dinner. The rest is history.
Great story huh? Quite a fairytale.
